Covid 19
The Playhouse Alberton will have a phased reopening of our establishment as of 10 July 2020.
As the health and safety of our Guests and Staff are our top priority, The Playhouse Alberton's phased reopening will take guidance from the South African Government and Local Health Authorities
We will continually adjust operations, health and safety measures as the situation evolves.
Appropriate face masks to be worn by all
To promote the health and safety of Guests and Staff, all parties will be required to wear an appropriate face covering at all times except when eating.
Screening & Sanitizing Stations
Temperature Screening will be done on entrance and exit of facility. Any persons with a temperature of 37,6 and above will be denied admission and will be asked to seek medical attention. We use liquid and gel, 70% alcohol based hand sanitizers at several points of access throughout our facility where it will be compulsory to sanitize.
Enhanced cleaning procedures
The Playhouse Alberton will further increase the frequency of cleaning measures in addition to the standards of cleanliness already in place.
We have adjusted our Play Sessions to accommodate fogging/sanitizing every 2-3 hours while in use. We will no longer have an hourly rate and the minimum play session will be 90mins.
Expanded health and safety training
As we welcome Guests back to the magic, our staff will play a key role in guiding and explaining new measures to guests, answering any questions and encouraging everyone to follow measures to promote the health and safety of us all.
Prior to reopening, our staff will undergo new training to ensure they are prepared to support the enhanced health and safety measures, encourage physical distancing, and manage contactless payment solutions.
